Website Research: including type of e-commerce website you plan to develop, 5 similar websites, model and target market

I have decided to create an original gaming-based site for the website project. The name of the business is "Awkward Society". As such, these are the products/services offered:
  • An area for community interaction where users/gamers may chat, swap game advice, and take part in online competitions.
  • Pre-order upcoming games for delivery on release day
  • Sale of collectibles, highly sought out of and limited edition items
  • Gaming accessories
  • Clothing items from popular game characters and logo
  • Customers can trade their items and gadgets with each other, or a newer version.

The business models for the site are B2C and C2C

Target market: Worldwide, Anyone and Everyone 

Tagline/slogan:
- Game On, creating a "game-unity"

The website idea is a unique one because it is a combination of some similar websites. Uniting the gaming community as well as passive gamers and game enthusiasts into one big "game-unity".
