It is important for a business to have a database for their customers, as this can help tailor the marketing efforts to their needs. An essential intangible asset for businesses is a customer data management system. It enhances customer relations, expands marketing and sales initiatives, boosts operational effectiveness, and increases revenue. A customer database is a repository of data that contains lead contact information such first and last names, phone numbers, email addresses (Zhostka, 2022).
