Testing Website Functionality Across Different Browsers/Platforms

  Testing is an important part of the development process. The website is almost complete, it is time to test it the functionality and the view across multiple devices and platforms. Firstly, a view of the website layout on a mobile devices. It is important to optimize the mobile view, as it is a commonly used mode of browsing the internet. Next, It is time to test the functions of the website such as site search, cart, and checkout. In the images below, it can be seen that items can be added to cart for checkout, and the checkout is secure, so customers can be rest assured. Also, the search settings only needs a letter to help predict what a customer might be looking for. Thirdly, the website as been tested to two different browser, to identify any possible problems or restrictions. It has been tested on Google chrome and Microsoft edge, two popular and widely used browsers.

  With the use of excel, a product analysis has been created. Below is a visual representation of sales and profits made. However, first, a view of the formulas used. The above chart shows the profit generated by these products. It can be noted that "Gameflow Black" has made the most profits, with "L503 Headset" generating the lowest. In this chart, a representation of how much a product was bought in  relation to the profit made, and how much is left.
